Garbh Sanskar- Education in womb

  Garbh Sanskar is a Sanskrit term that has been derived from two words. Garbh means the womb and Sanskar means education. In simple words it means, educating the foetus in the womb. In Hinduism, it has been believed that “A child‘s mental and behavioral development get started as soon as he is conceived. His personality begins to take shape in the womb and this can be influenced by the mother’s state of mind during pregnancy.” It has been believed that Abhimanyu, the son of Arjun learned how to enter the Chakravyuha(strategic arrangement of a warrior to entrap and defeat the enemy ), when he was in his mother’s womb. He had heard and remembered the narration and technique by Arjuna to Subhadra during her pregnancy. But unfortunately he had not learned how to escape from the Chakrayuha and that was the reason, he was killed during the war.

The story of world’s first surgery

  An ancient Indian physician, named Sushrutha, wrote about plastic surgery around 2500 years ago. The book, Sushruta Samhita, still contains the details of the surgery. This story is related to Kumar who read the Susruta Samhita and practice surgery in his local place. In 1794 AD, the third Mysore war took place between Tipu Sultan and the Britishers. The Mysore soldiers captured a truck which was carrying food for the british amy. A simple Marathi named Kosaji was the one who drove this truck. Tipu Sultan ordered to cut off his nose. Kosaji with his nose cut was released after the end of the war. A british doctor come forward to treat him. But Kosaji did not allow that doctor to treat him and said to take him to a traditional physician named Kumar. The britishers scolded him for choosing the local remedy instead of modern medicine. Ghatika Yantra-The Ancient Indian Water Clock

We all must have read about the sun dial which were used in ancient India to measure the time, but what if there is no sun, such as on a cloudy day. Ancient Indians devised a different type of clock, one that is based on water, called Ghatika Yantra. In ancient India in the towns, a group of men called Ghadiyali were appointed to measure time. To measure time vessel with a hole at the bottom was place over another big vessel containing water. When the vessel with the hole was filled with water, they used to strike the ghariyal, a thick brass disc hung at a high place with a mallet. This indicated a certain period of time. The bowl-shaped outflow is the simplest form of a water clock and is known to have existed in India, China, Babylon, and in Egypt thousands of years ago. Historians suggest that pots excavated from Mohenjo Daro might have used as water clocks; they are taped at the bottom, have a hole on the side. 800 years back Indian architects knew how a fetus looked like inside the womb. This sculpture of a baby in a mother's womb is crafted with clarity along the accurate position of baby, as one would find in a scan!  This sculpture is of Sri Sundara Kamakshi Temple at Siru Karumbur,Tamil Nadu.  The temple was built by Raja Chola at least 800 years ago. The Value of Pie upto 32 Decimals in the Vedas

  There are a lot of secrets and valuable things which are hidden in the Vedas. In Hinduism people have achieved scientific feats centuries before actual scientists theorised those feats. A very wise person who have the knowledge of Sanskrit can only extract the truth meaning of historical Hindu texts and scriptures. Any Sloka in the ancient Hindu manuscripts has more than one meaning thats the beauty of it. Studies show that a Sloka in the tenth book of Rig Veda appears to be written to praise Lord Indra and that the technical translation of that Sloka gives the value of Pie upto 28 digits accurately. Before the invention of Computer the Western mathematicians could only get as close as getting 16 digits accurately.
